Weatherman: Rains hit most of India
Bangalore, July 17: Rain and thundershower have occurred at most places over Kerala. Some places over Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep also had rainfall, along with Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand and a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and northeastern states.
Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country.
Forecast in the next 3 days
Heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur at one or two places over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Some of the other areas that are likely to receive heavy rainfall include Odisha, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Weather conditions in these areas will remain the same in the next few days.
