Madhubani, July 17: At least 15 kids fainted after having mid-day meal at their school in Madhubani, a district in Bihar. The state, where 22 children died a day earlier after consuming mid-day meal, faced tremendous criticism.
The children has fallen ill after having the mid-day meal at a government school in Madhubani. All students have been admitted to a local hospital where the condition of two is stated to be critical. The doctors informed 13 other students were out of danger.
According to reports a lizard was found in the vegetable served in the mid day meal. The students were served rice, dal and vegetables and soon after the meals some of them complained of stomach ache and fell ill.
Earlier on Tuesday, a mid-day meal tragedy took place at a government primary school in Dahrmasati Gandawan village at Mashrakh block, about 25 km from Chhapra and 60 km from state capital.
