iPhone under scanner over girl's death, Apple orders probe
Beijing, July 16: US-based multinational corporation -- Apple Inc ordered an internal investigation into the case in which a girl died while using the company's iPhone.
In an official statement, company official said, "We are deeply saddened to learn of this tragic incident and offer our condolences to the Ma family. We will fully investigate and cooperate with authorities in this matter."

The
23-year-old
victim,
who
had
worked
as
a
flight
attendant
at
China
Southern
Airlines,
reportedly
was
electrocuted
while
using
her
iPhone.
The family hails from Xinjiang's city of Changji The news attracted everyone's attention when the victim's sister Ailun turned up to Sina Weibo (a Twitter-like micro-blogging site in China) saying that Ma was electrocuted while trying to answer a call on her iPhone. The device was connected with charger.
Ailun's post reads, "(I) hope that Apple Inc can give us an explanation. I also hope that all of you will refrain from using your mobile devices while charging."
Soon, Ailun's post on Sina Weibo had gone viral as many forwarded the message warning others of the dangers of using mobile devices while they are being charged.
Ma's father confirmed that his daughter was electrocuted. He also informed that Ma's body showed signs of electrocution. Ailun sought justice from Apple.
