Sushilkumar Shinde and Sonia Gandhi visit Bodh Gaya
Bodh Gaya/Patna, July 10: Home minister Sushilkumar Shinde and Congress President Sonia Gandhi visited the Mahabodhi temple today to inspect the blast site and the ongoing investigations.
In a press conference, Shinde revealed that IB, NIA are leaving no stones unturned to resolve the matter. Condemning the blasts on Sunday, Shinde said that investigations are being done on all angles and reports would be out soon. The bombs have been reportedly planted during the night on the previous day.
Meanwhile, the four tourists who were spotted in the CCTV camera were interrogated in Patna by the NIA, IB and the police. However, they were released as no evidence was found against them.
In fact, the four had themselves gone to the Superintendent of police Jaykant and related the entire story. On asking why they had booked two hotel rooms for just two hours in the early that day, they said that they had come to visit the temple, but were informed by the hotel authorities that a bomb blast had happened in the temple premises. Following this, they checked-out of the hotel room as they figured that it was not be safe to visit the temple anymore.
