Patna, July 7: Serial bomb blasts rocked Mahabodhi temple in Bihar's Bodhgaya district on Sunday, July 7. Sources informed that at least 8 bombs were planted inside the temple, however, one bomb has been defused by bomb squad.
At least two people were injured as the bombs reportedly were of low-intensity. There were no damage to the temple shrine.
The first blast took place around 5:00 am followed by seven successive explosions. A Buddhist monk and a pilgrim from Myanmar received severe injuries during the blasts. The injured were rushed to hospital.
