Nitish reaches blasts site, PM slams 'intolerable' attacks
Bodh Gaya (Bihar), July 7: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Mahabodhi temple here, which was hit by a series of blasts early on Sunday morning, around 11 am.
Earlier, Home Secretary Anil Goswami, who recently took over, said the temple structure wasn't damaged and that monasteries and the statue of Lord Buddha also escaped unhurt. He also confirmed that two people were injured in the terror attack.

a
land
of
composite
culture
and
traditions
would
not
be
tolerated.
President
Pranab
Mukherjee
also
condemned
the
attacks.
Bihar BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said intelligent inputs should not be taken lightly in such cases and alleged that there was security lapse even though there was a prior warning. He slammed the Nitish Kumar government for not acting on the warning.
Currently, the JD(U) is in government alone in Bihar after it terminated its 17-year-old alliance with the BJP last month.
A forensic team had reached the spot till the latest reports came in.
