Thundershowers hit most parts of India
Bangalore, July 2: Showers were quite incessant in a number of places across the country, such as Kerala, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Assam and Meghalaya and at one or two places over west Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Gujarat, interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The weatherman reports that convective clouds can be seen over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, SubHimalayan West Bengal, Odisha, Assam and Meghalaya, Tripura, along west coast, Gujarat region, Andhra Pradesh, central Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and east central Arabian sea.
Rain and thundershowers will occur at most places over Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh and along the western coast. Some of the other places to receive showers include Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Odisha, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The Met department warns that heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur in east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and Sikkim during the next 48 hours.
Bangalore
The city will enjoy a cloudy weather with light rains for till the end of next week. Temperature would be constant with 23 degree Celsius. However, a thundershowers is likely today.
