Rahul Gandhi follows Narendra Modi's development mantra
New Delhi, June 14: Rahul Gandhi, Vice President of Congress, seems to have began following the footsteps of Narendra Modi. The young Gandhi family scion vowed to develop their constituencies in Uttar Pradesh -- Rae Bareli and Amethi.
Speaking about is dream for the two constituencies, Rahul was quoted as saying, I will change Amethi and Rae Bareli in such a way that people will come to see the development works here."

Rahul Gandhi's dream for Rae Bareli and Amethi:
- A food park with about 40 food processing units in Fursatganj,
- A paper mill by Hindustan Paper Corporation in Jagdishpur, ACentral Institute of Hotel Management,
- Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in Jagdishpur,
- A power plant in Jagdishpur
The Congress Vice President also vowed to create infrastructure which would help UP farmers to export mangoes directly from the state. Currently, farmers from UP send their mangoes to Delhi, from where they are exported.
Speaking about the delay in all projects in the state, Rahul claimed that UPA government could not succeeded to follow its development works in Amethi and Rae Bareli at a fast pace because the Congress is not in government in the state.
