Jiah Khan suicide: Amitabh upset over interactions with Tech

Bangalore, May 6: Suicide is not the last solution to problems. And Bollywood's "youngest thing" Jiah Khan ending her life due to stress over career and relationship with actor Aditya Pancholi's son Suraj Pancholi, kept everyone gaping.

One of the Bollywood's most popular actor with whom Jiah made her debut, Amitabh Bachchan, stated on micro blogging site Twitter, "The harshest irony of life : the limelight she desired, was given to her when she gave up her life for what she desired, supposedly"

25-year-old Jiah, a Bollywood actress, was reportedly depressed over Suraj's love interest in another woman.

According to sources, Jiah had called Suraj and was told that he was waiting for a lady at a Juhu hotel. Shocked over Suraj's response, Jiah was learnt to have sent a message asking his relationship with the woman.

It was reported that the woman is the family jeweller of the Pancholis and she is at least 20 years older to Suraj.

Amitabh Bachchan has expressed distress over the use of technology for such sensitive issues. He stated on Twitter, "A personal face to face talk at times solves many an issue that an SMS never may .."

He also believed that the technological conversation makes things very impersonal. He stated, "Many unable to understand the electronic gadgetry bit. The form of expression these days is through SMS mostly. Gets impersonal !!"

Jiah was found dead in her Juhu residence in Mumbai on Monday. Her mother and sister were not present at the flat. Postmortem report said the young actress died due to hanging.

She was upset over several things and that could be seen in the last Tweet where she said, "...sometimes u need a sabbatical to recollect ur thoughts"

Her last rites were performed on Wednesday. She was buried in the Santa Cruz graveyard in Mumbai.
