Bangalore, May 18: The new ministry of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was sworn in in Karnataka on Saturday. The new Congress ministry has 28 members, including 10 new faces. One of the member is a woman, Umashree.

The ministry has 20 cabinet and eight state ministers.

Vokkaliga MLA and former minister DK Shiva kumar and Dalit MLC Motamma were among those who were denied seats. Many Congress leaders who failed to get a place in the ministry complained to party chief Sonia Gandhi.
