Sanjay Dutt could be baker or cook at Yerawada Jail

New Delhi, May 16: Actor Sanjay Dutt could be either a baker or a cook at the Yerawada Jail in Pune while he serves his sentence in prison. For this job he will be paid Rs 25 daily.

During the last prison term, the actor was into carpentry. His salary may be increased from Rs 25 per day to Rs 50 per day after he becomes expert in his chosen field.

As per jail manual, Sanajy Dutt, will get an allowance of Rs 1,500 from his family. He will be allowed to meet a maximum of five people from his family in a month and that too for 20 minutes only.

Dutt is expected to be taken to Yerawada Jail after his surrender today in Mumbai. He has been convicted and sentenced to five years in prison in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. He has served 18 months in jail and will serve the remaining 42 months now.

Jail authorities in Pune are making no special arrangements for the celebrity convict. Dutt could be lodged in the "Anda cell" an egg-shaped cell, normally reserved for hard-core criminals or those under threat, as it is considered one of Yerawada's most secure cells.
