Pak prisoner Sanaullah succumbs to injuries
Senior doctors at PGIMER, Chandigarh told that Pakistan prisoner Sanaullah passed away on Thursday morning at 5.30 am.
His remained critical. His post-mortem will be done in a government hospital, according to sources.
Sanaullah had suffered kidney failure on Wednesday and was in critical condition. He was on a ventilator, remained unconsicious and was on dopamine and noradrenaline infusions to maintain his blood pressure, sources at the Post Graduate Institue of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) said.
"The patient has become extremely critical. He has developed renal failure with no urine output since morning. Hence, he was put on peritoneal dialysis by Nephrologists," the bulletin released on Wednesday said.
The attack followed a similar assault in Pakistan's Kot Lahkpat Jail, which led to the death of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh.
