More than half of Bangaloreans didn't get voters' slip!
The EC, in a bid to stop political parties from campaigning at the booth-level through voters' slip, had decided to carry out the task on its own.
Chief electoral officer Anil Kumar Jha had promised to deliver the slips at the voters' doorsteps before the polls but it was seen that most of the people did not receive the slips till Saturday evening. Some said they did not receive any slip while some other said that their slips were provided by party workers.
Upset voters said the EC should not have undertaken such a herculean task, if not impossible.
There were also voters who found their date of birth printed wrongly in their voter identity cards.
