Saradha Group owner Sudipta Sen, who was recently caught along with two associates in Sonamarg in Jammu and kashmir after his chit fund scheme went bust, has told the police that the MP had pressurised him on to enter media business and even threatened him on various issues. It was alleged that Ghosh received a hefty salary from the Saradha and promised security to Sen's business in return. The police summoned Ghosh to assess Sen's claims.
Ghosh, who was the chief executive officer of the Saradha Media Group, said earlier that he found it convenient to face the police to clarify his stand instead of facing what he termed as blatant lies. Ghosh rubbished Sen's allegations that his business had links with members of the ruling party, saying he was just a salaried employee of the media group and had nothing to do with Sen's businesses.
Earlier, employees of the Saradha media had filed FIRs against Ghosh.
