According to the complaint by the victims father, the policeman dissuaded the family from filing an FIR and offered them Rs 2000 to back-off.
Although, the police said that the culprit has been identified, they refused to divulge the name.
According to sources, the girl's father was shown photographs of 13 policemen from which he identified the culprit.
On Tuesday, Delhi Police Commissioner, Neeraj Kumar, during a press conference said that the guilty could not be identified because the girl's father was not available.
The five-year-old girl was abducted April 15, kept hostage for two days and raped east Delhi's Gandhi Nagar. The girl's family stays in the same building where the incident took place.
