Anjali headed to the West Zone DCP office in Hyderabad where the Deputy Commissioner of Police Sudheer Babu interrogated her and recorded her statement. Later during an interaction with media, Anjali claimed that she would detail about her "missing" episode shortly.
Soon after her mysterious disappearance from a hotel in Hyderabad, Anjali's brother Ravi Shankar had filed a missing complaint raising fingers at their step mother Bharati Devi and director Kalanjiyam.
Anjali earlier had accused Bharati Devi and Kalanjiyam of giving her mental torture. The duo were also accused of using her "like an ATM".
However, the two accused dismissed all allegations against them. Kalanjiyam also filed a defamation suit against Anjali for charging him with baseless allegations. He was even ready to handle all charges against in a courtroom.
Meanwhile, Bharati Devi filed a police complaint on alleging that Anjali may have been kidnapped and is being forced to issue statements against her and director Kalanjiyam.
A police official was quoted as saying, "She (Bharati Devi) believes that someone could have kidnapped Anjali. She fears that her kidnapper might be forcing Anjali to allege harassments charges against her."
Meanwhile, reports surfaced saying Anjali had called Bharati Devi and requested her brother to withdraw the complaint against the latter. However, Ravi Shankar refused to do so and claimed, "My mother claims that Anjali spoke to her sometime back assuring that she is doing fine. She requested that I withdraw all charges against our step mother and director Kalanjiyam. I won't withdraw any charges until I see her. For all I know she might have been forced to say all this."
Now, Anjali's sudden reappearance brought a new twist in the case. Speaking about the case, the DGP on Friday overruled all claims regarding kidnapping and informed that Anjali had gone missing on her own.
