Sanjay Dutt gets ready to surrender; visits Dargah in MP
On Thursday, he offered prayers at a Dargah in Madhya Pradesh. He also visited the mazar of Baba Shahbuddin and Baba Moinuddin in Neemuch, Bhopal and also offered a chaadar.
Earlier in April he visited a temple in Madhya Pradesh, accompanied by his brother-in-law to offer prayers. He had arrived in a private plane from Mumbai, after which they drove down for a darshan at Devi Peeth in Madhya Pradesh.
The actor might file a review petition against the judgement. The apex court found the actor guilty of acquiring illegal weapons from those blamed for the bombings in Mumbai that killed 257 people and was given four weeks to surrender. The court upheld Dutt's conviction but reduced his sentence from six to five years in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. Since the actor has already served 18 months of jail, now he has to spend another three-and-half-year in prison.
