Revealed: Why Narendra Modi gets promotion in BJP

New Delhi, April 1: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has been inducted in BJP Parliamentary Board taking a step forward towards Lok Sabha elections which is expected to be held in 2014. A day after Modi's promotion in the party, senior BJP leaders have revealed the reasons behind the move taken by the party.

Revealing the reasons behind Modi's induction in the highest decision making body of the party, BJP Spokesman Prakash Javadekar was quoted as saying, "Narendra Modi is the senior-most Chief Minister of BJP and has achieved top success in his state. He is the most popular leader in BJP. He has become an icon of non-corrupt good governments."

According to experts, BJP President Rajnath Singh formed his new team with perfect composition which would definitely help the party to get its goal during the general election.

Varun Gandhi, Amit Shah and Rajiv Pratap Rudy have been appointed as general secretaries of the party. Uma Bharti and Smriti Irani have been elevated as vice-president.

It is believed that Modi has taken a step forward to become the PM nominee of the party during the general election in which BJP is expecting to return to power in the Centre. The new team of the party led by Rajnath Singh is expected to give a boost to Modi's dream of becoming the PM.
