New Delhi, March 29: Activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal's fast entered the seventh day on Friday (March 29). The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader is on fast to protest against inflated power and water bills in the national capital.

Doctors say Kejriwal's health has deteriorated and he lost around six Kgs during his ongoing fast.

In a statement on Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party, though said he was stable with all the vital parameters within the normal range. "His blood pressure was 120/74, pulse was 66 and sugar was 106 this morning. The level of ketones has come down from 4+ to 3+, which is a positive indication," it said.

Attacking both Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kejriwal on Thursday (March 28) said that both the political parties bribe voters to win elections.

"This is because BJP and Congress are both worried as a different kind of politics is slowly emerging in India. So far they are used to winning on the basis of bribing voters, money power and muscle power but now the voters have awakened. The elections will not be elections but revolution," he told his supporters.

AAP claimed that 82,726 people on Wednesday signed protest letters pledging not to pay the "inflated" power and water bills, taking the total to over the 2.69 lakh mark.

These letters would be delivered to Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit shortly, the statement said.
