In a petition submitted to the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka, the JDS asked the Election Commission to issue a notice to Shivakumar and take suitable action for violation of code of conduct, Sindhia said.
Sindhia also took on the ruling BJP for encouraging fringe saffron parties including Sri Rama Sene and Bajrang Dal. "They are one, but having different masks. We will complain about it to the Chief Election Commissioner's team," he said.
