The actor was thrown out of the VIP lounge of the airport. According to sources, Saif was asked to vacate the VIP lounge of the Chowdhary Charan Singh airport as he was not entitled to the facilities.
Saif, however, refused to follow the instructions and started arguing led to a bitter fight with the security guards. The brawl came to an end with the intervention of senior officials of the airport. [Update: Airport brawl news baseless? Saif threatens to sue agency]
An airport official was quoted as saying, "When the actor refused to move out and tried to throw around his weight, he was forcibly evicted from the lounge."
Saif, who visited Lucknow for shooting of his movie Bullet Raja, later waited in the open area along with other travellers and headed towards Delhi on a Jet Airways flight.
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) commandant Gyanendra Kumar confirmed the incident saying that Saif was asked to leave after airport officials brought it to their notice that he was an unauthorized occupant of the VIP lounge.
This was not the first time when the actor was engaged in unwanted fight. He has a history of losing his temper at public places creating unnecessary ruckus.
Earlier Saif was arrested following his fight with one NRI called Iqbal Sharma. The actor was dining with his wife Kareena Kapoor along with Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora and her husband when the brawl took place.
Following the fight at the Taj Hotel, Saif was charge-sheeted under section 325 (assault) and section 34 (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.
