According to a media report, Kumar Vishwas, an Aam Aadmi Party member, posted on his Facebook timeline saying the 'Jan Lokpal crusader will join Arvind Kejriwal'. He wrote, "Anna is coming with Arvind Kejriwal during his hunger strike."
Even after this public post has been put up on Facebook, AAP helpline representatives refrained from commenting any further. "We have not made this official as of now. However, if this is confirmed, we will make it public," AAP helpline representative Vipul Dey was quoted in Daily Bhaskar.
While speculations are many, one of the main questions is whether Kejriwal is roping in Anna into the AAP in the hope of garnering support for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections?
Recently, months after Kerjriwal and Hazare parted ways due to infighting, Kejriwal has blamed Anna Hazare for the split saying that there was a 'trust deficit'. The movement for the Janlokpal bill which started off with great aplomb in April 2011, lost momentum as infighting within members of India Against Corruption (IAC) began to take over.
Meanwhile, Hazare who recently began his campaign Janatantra and said that his fight would continue until the Right to reject and Right to recall is endorsed by Parliament. has barely been receiving any response. Most of those present for the campaign include members from India Against Corruption (IAC).
