Bangalore: Gear up for Acharya Habba

Bangalore, March 5: Acharya Habba 2013, the annual fest of Acharya Institutes, Bangalore, is being held on March 22 and 23. Like every year, this time as well, there are a number of events and programmes at the cultural extravaganza.

During the 2 day fest around 30,000 students are expected to participate. Students from a multitude of cultures, ethnicities and nationalities will be there to make it a global show. Students from different countries like Tanzania, Iraq, Bhutan, The UK, Afghanistan, South Korea will be bringing in their cultural edge to the Acharya Habba.

Events inlcude feet thumping dance competition, rockband shows, skits, fashion shows and the star-studded line up of celebrity guests and performances. Competitions like quiz, gaming, poster painting, face painting are being held during the day, while the mega events kick off from 3pm. Various food stalls, sponsor stalls and helpdesks will be set up near the venue.

Acharya Habba is being held at the campus of Acharya Institutes.

In previous years, Benny Dayal enthralled the audience with his superhit numbers, while superstar Ragini Dwivedi did a jig with the competitors on stage, bands such as Beat Gurus and Parvaaz gave up splendid performances.
