New Delhi, Feb 5: The newly-appointed Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has a herculean task ahead of him, as he is all set to revamp the party. The grand-old party of India is in desperate need to change its image, as several of its party leaders are caught in massive corruption scams.

Moreover, under Congress led UPA government the Aam Aadmi are reeling under severe price hike of all essential commodities.

But, the recent brutal Delhi gang-rape and murder of a 23-year-old paramedical student in a moving bus in the national capital brought the entire country on the streets to protest against the government.

Rahul, who is in charge of General Elections 2014 is desperately trying to bring changes in the party and about people's perception regarding the party. In order to do so, his first step was to set up a dedicated team of Social Media, which can work on the image of Congress via social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Sources indicate that Rahul will give push to remodel the media, communication and publicity cells of the party. The Vice-President is also said to be looking for researchers to enhance Congress's reach across the country.

Moreover, Rahul will be visiting his constituency Amethi in Uttar Pradesh for next two days.
