*Tottenham's recent signing Lewis Holtby snubbed north London rivals Arsenal because Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is an 'insanely good manager'.

*Tottenham winger Gareth Bale could make a switch to Spain with Real Madrid for a fee worth around £60 million. The Welshman is ready to part ways with Spurs at the end of the season.

*Joao Moutinho is on Tottenham's radar once again after the club missed out on the Portuguese during the summer. But Spurs are planning to offer Porto only a cut-price deal for the 25-year-old.

*Tottenham are keen on signing Barcelona striker David Villa during the January transfer window.
