Delhi Gangrape: Victim's health condition worsens
New Delhi, Dec 23: Health condition of the 23-year-old victim of Delhi gangrape worsened on Sunday morning. Doctors informed that she is facing respiratory problems.
According to hospital sources, she will have to be put on the ventilator again. On Friday, she was taken off the ventilator. Platelet count of the victim has reportedly gone down, resulting in her condition worsening.

on
Saturday,
she
was
given
water
and
apple
juice.
After
six
days
of
the
horrible
incident,
she
spoke
for
the
first
time
and
recorded
her
statement
before
the
sub-divisional
magistrate
(SDM)
in
Safdarjung
Hospital.
However, doctors informed that her condition is critical but stable and she continues to battle for her life in the Intensive-care unit (ICU) of the hospital.
The victim was brutally raped by six men and later was stripped and was thrown out of a moving bus on last Sunday. She was rushed to the hospital on Monday morning.
The brutal incident enraged the aam-aadmi (common man) and especially the young India who started protesting against the government demanding justice for the victim.
All accused have been arrested. Indians urged the government to hang them and to bring changes in prevailing laws regarding crime against women.
