London, Dec 22: Chelsea return to Premier League action this weekend as they host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues went through a disappointing campaign in the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan losing 1-0 to Brazilian side Corinthians but came back to winning ways thrashing Leeds United 5-1 in the Capital One Cup.

Rafa Benitez will have to rethink his tactics after his sides dismal form in the league. The Londoners have won just one game in eight.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa are coming into this game following a 3-1 over Liverpool in Anfield. Paul Lambert's side against the Reds was the youngest playing XI in the league so far.

The Villans are slowly finding their feet after going six unbeaten in all competitions.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is available after being suspended for the Capital One Cup clash. The former Villa centre-back is set to go in place for injured captain John Terry.

Darren Bent could miss the clash at Stamford Bridge while Gabriel Agbonlahor and skipper Ron Vlaar are definite absentees due to calf and thigh injuries, respectively.
