London, Dec 13: Premier League clubs have their top transfer targets across Europe and many are ready to move in from some of the biggest clubs during the winter transfer window. Here is a look at the top five Premier League targets in January.

Radamel Falcao - Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea were favourites to land the Colombia international, 26, as a replacement for £50m flop star Fernando Torres. However, the Blues are reluctant to shell out £46million for the former Porto star. Meanwhile, Manchester City are planning a move for Falcao, who has scored 16 goals in 15 La Liga games, but face heavy competition for Atletico rivals Real Madrid.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - Schalke

Arsenal and Liverpool are ready to bring in Dutch star Huntelaar during January after the 29-year old rejected to sign a new contract with the Germany giants. Arsene Wenger hopes the Dutch striker can replace fellow countryman Robin van Persie. Arsene Wenger will be hoping to sign huntelaar on a cut-price £6million in January. Wenger will look at other options across Spain with Adrian Lopez and Fernando Llorente ready to make a move to the Premier League.

Manchester United were the first to enquire about the Sutch midfield maestro but hitback after the players wage demands. Sneijder, 28, is currently earning a whopping £1,80,000-a-week with Inter and wants nearly £2,50,000 from clubs interested to sign him. Tottenham are interested to sign the contract rebel from Inter Milan as a replacement for Luka Modric but will have a problem dealing with Sneijder's wage demands. Meanwhile, Manchester City could be close to signing the 28-year old after Untied bowed out.
