Ailing Anna Hazare admitted to Gurgaon hospital, tweets Bedi

on Friday, Dec 7 was admitted to Medanta

in Gurgaon, Haryana. According to former IPS officer and Hazare's team member, Kiran Bedi, the 75-year-old was admitted in the hospital because of his ill-health.

Bedi tweeted, "As soon as Anna complained of ill health no time was lost to take him to Medanta which had taken good care of him earlier!"

"Anna is admitted in Medanta and under intensive care of a team of doctors. What are the health issues only Doctors can say as professionals," Bedi further tweeted.

Former Team Anna member and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal also confirmed this on Twitter and wished Hazare a fast recovery.

"Anna in hospital. I wish I cud go to see him. I wish him fast recovery," tweeted Kejriwal.

Hazare's failing health has been a concern for his team members. Earlier this year, anti-corruption activist was admitted to a Pune hospital for a battery of tests to determine the cause of his persistent cough and fever.
