The Bollywood actor was disturbed over the murder case in Bulandshahr where a 28-year-old man has been killed and it is suspected that it could be a case of honour killing.

Accusing her family members of killing his husband, the wife of the deceased was quoted as saying, "They have killed my husband, they will kill me now. I am 9 months pregnant. My husband would have been alive if police protection was provided."

However, police overruled the theory of honour killing claiming that it was a case of personal feud. The couple had appeared in one of the episodes of Satyamev Jayate which had attracted the attentions of the countrymen to several existing social issues.

Expressing his concern for the victim's wife, Aamir on Monday, Nov 26 said, "Disturbing and unfortunate incident. Will speak to the government authorities in UP to help and ensure the family is safe."

"The culprits must be brought to the book. The case is registered on the basis of right facts," added the actor who is playing a role of cop in his upcoming movie Talaash.
