Mumbai, Nov 19: Despite a clarification by Shiv Sena spokesperson, many Mumbaikars observed bandh in Mumbai on Monday, Nov 19 to show respect to their leader Bal Thackeray.

Federation of Associations of Maharashtra (FAM) asked its constituents and the trading community to observe bandh in the state on Monday as a mark of respect to the Sena patriarch who passed away on Saturday.

Mumbai created a history in the nation as at least 50 lakh people joined the funeral procession organised for the Sena supremo.
