Baba Ramdev joins Mamata Banerjee, attacks Sonia Gandhi
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo asserted that she would bring no confidence motion against the UPA government in the Winter Session of the Parliament which would commence from Nov 22.
Hailing Mamata, the yoga-guru on Monday, Nov 19 said, "I support Mamata Banerjee who is planning a no-confidence motion against the government in the parliament."
Continuing his statement, Ramdev added, "All those political parties that aim to work in cause of the commoners should support this no-confidence motion. In my view, this corrupt government shouldn't be allowed to govern even for a day."
Accusing Congress party of losing morality and the Constitutional rights to govern the nation, Ramdev also asserted, "Rampant scams such as the coal scam, telecom scam have maligned the image of the Congress party and I think it has no right to stay in power at the central level. It has no Constitutional or moral right to remain in power."
Parliament functions were stalled throughout the Monsoon Session and experts fear that ruckus over FDI once again may pour water on Winter Session too. Along with Trinamool Congress, many other opposition parties including BJP, CPI(M) also continue their stir against the central government's decision of bringing FDI in retail.
