Late goals seal last-16 place for Manchester United

Manchester United progressed into the knockout stages after a 3-1 victory over Sporting Braga. Braga captain Alan went ahead with a 49th minute penalty while United left it late until 10 minutes. Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez sealed three points for the Red Devils.
Chelsea went on top of Group E after a thrilling 3-2 win over Ukrainian outfit Shakhtar Donetsk. Victor Moses' 90-minute header handed Blues a much-needed win after Willian's double cancelled out goals from Oscar and Fernando Torres.
Juventus are closing in on group E rivals with a 4-0 thrashing of Nordsjaelland. The Italian champions are on six points, one below leaders Chelsea and second place Shakhtar.
Oscar Cardozo's double striker helped Benfica earn their first win in the group stages. The Portuguese giants beat Spartak Moskva 2-0 at home but remain third behind Barcelona and Celtic in group G.
Veteran striker Claudio Pizarro scored a hat-trick as Bayern Munich beat Lille 6-1 at home. Bastian Schweinsteiger, Arjen Robben and Toni Kroos were also on the scoresheet while Salomon Kalou scored a consolation for the French side.
Group F is turning out to be a battle between two clubs as Valencia beat BATE Borisov 4-2. The La Liga are now equal in points with Bayern.
Burak Yilmaz scored a hat-trick to keep Galatasaray's qualifying hopes alive as they beat CFR Cluj 3-1 away from home.
