EPL: Neymar to snub Manchester City and Chelsea

London, Nov 2: Brazil sensation Neymar is set to snub European giants Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona during the January transfer window.

Manchester United made a £38 million bid for Neymar

Several other cash-rich clubs across Europe will have to wait for the 20-year-old who is planning to stay at Santos until the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which is hosted in his homeland Brazil.

Neymar had been linked to several clubs during his visit to England for the London Olympics. Chelsea were keen to make a move for the forward while Manchester United chased 19-year-old playmaker Lucas Moura who joined French mega-rich Paris Saint-Germain.

However, United had reportedly put across a Deadline Day offer of £38 million but Santos clearly denied any such bid was made for Neymar.

Meanwhile, several Brazilian players are being targetted by Premier League clubs. During the transfer window, Oscar joined Chelsea while the Blues were linked to Zenit St Petersburg's Hulk. Tottenham Hotpsur tried to lure attacker Leandro Damiao who is also a target for Arsenal.
