Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi
Dharamsala, Oct 29: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi did it yet again. Addressing a crowd during his election campaign in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Modi on Monday, Oct 29 mocked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Criticising Manmohan Singh-led UPA government and slamming its "insensitivity towards aam aadmi", Modi mocked Manmohan Singh by calling him "Maun-mohan Singh", who had visited poll bound Himachal Pradesh on Sunday.

"Maun-Mohan Singh (Silent-Mohan Singh) broke his silence in Himachal Pradesh and hence has made headlines in all newspapers," said Modi.

The Prime Minister, who always faces criticism over his "silence", visited Himachal and criticised BJP saying, "The Central government has provided 152 ambulances for this service in Himachal by giving full financial assistance. Likewise, the state government was also running the Centre's healthcare schemes with other names."

The PM said, "It's like the work is done by somebody and the credit is taken by someone else", adding, "From an all-important rural employment generations scheme like MNREGA, the state government utilised only 56% of the total funding by the Centre in the past six years. From the National Rural Health Mission, the state used only Rs 8 crore against the provision of Rs 142 crore."

Modi's statement on PM surfaced just a day after Prime Minister's visit to the state. However, this is not the first time that Gujarat CM has mocked PM.

Earlier he had claimed, "Firstly, the government should stop painting a rosy picture. If the Prime Minister accepts the reality, he can find an answer. But the problem is that he does not believe in what he is doing. He is not able to take even those decisions made by him to their logical end."
