EPL 2012-13: Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea Preview

London, Oct 20: Chelsea's dominance this season could be seriously tested when they visit White Hart Lane to face an in-form Tottenham Hotspur side.

Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas will face his former side Chelsea and look to end their unbeaten run this season. On top of the league table, Roberto Di Matteo's men have already enjoyed success in a North London derby against Arsenal and will look to beat their city rivals.

Villas-Boas side have remained unbeaten in nine competitive fixtures since the opening day loss to Newcastle United. While the Blues are unbeaten in the Premier League this season.

Tottenham will miss midfielder Scott Parker who is out with an Achilles injury since Euro 2012 defeat to Italy. Parker, 32, is set to be in Christmas.

Villas-Boas will be without defenders Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul but Spurs welcome back Jake Livermore and Kyle Naughton, both returned to training.

Chelsea defender John Terry's four-match ban comes into force at White Hart Lane while Frank Lampard and Ryan Bertrand returned to the squad after missing England's World Cup qualifying matches against San Marino and Poland.

Spurs have been in tremendous form off-late even with a win over Manchester United at Old Trafford last month.
