A small-time television actress Priya Mishra had filed molestation case against Raja who has directed many TV serials and movies.

Following the complaint, Versova police sent Raja for a medical test and then took him into police custody. The accused will be produced before a court in Mumbai on Monday, Oct 15.

ACP Narsingh Sherkhan, while informing about the case, has been quoted as saying, "The woman had gone to show Raja Mukherjee a script. He tried to molest her in the car."

A case under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been filed against Raja who is currently lodged in Andheri jail.

It seems that Rani is going through rough phase as molestation case has been filed against her brother at a time when her long-awaited movie "Aiyyaa" failed to impress people.

Rani's close friend Aditya Chopra's father and the chief of Yash Raj Films - Yash Chopra was also admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, Oct 13 after being diagnosed with dengue.

Yash Raj film's spokesperson has been quoted as saying, "Yash Chopra was admitted to hospital on Saturday after being diagnosed with an attack of dengue. He has been kept under observation. He is feeling much better and should be home soon. Thank you all for your concern and best wishes."
