Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's convoy rams into auto, 3 dead
The accident took place at Jamui. Seven police personnel also were injured. The CM was not present at the time of the accident as the convoy had dropped him at Nawada hours before the convoy hit the vehicle.
The CM has been conducting state-wide rallies demanding "special status" for his state but violence and tragic incidents seem to have given a special status to his rally and convoy.
Earlier, angry mob showed black flags and hurled shoes at the Chief Minister protesting against his government in the state. However, Nitish Kumar had accused opposition parties in the state of conspiring against him and his rally.
Speaking about the violence and protest against his rally, the CM said, "The protesters pelted stones on my motorcade and made a bid on my life apparently to stop me in my endeavour to seek betterment of Bihar and its people by getting special status."
