EPL: Premier League Results Report
London, Oct 7: Chelsea maintained their unbeaten run this season after thrashing Norwich City 4-1 at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are currently four points clear at the top of the table.

Chelsea were shocked early on when Grant Holt scored for the Canaries. But the visitors lead lasted three minutes as Fernando Torres headed in the equaliser. Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard added two more in the first half while defender Branislav Ivanovic scored 15 minutes from time.

Manchester earned their first clean sheet this season with a 3-0 win over Sunderland at the Etihad Stadium. Roberto Mancini made several changes to his squad especially in defence. Captain Vincent Kompany was dropped following his poor form.

Left-back Aleksnader Kolarov scored a stunning free-kick less than five minutes into the game. Substitute Sergio Aguero and James Milner scored second half goals which sent City to second place in the league standings.

Reading were denied their first win this season as Swansea City fought back to earn a point in the 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium. Reading took a two-goal lead in the first half through Pavel Pogrebnyak and Noel Hunt. The Welshside came back with second half goals from Michu Wayne Routledge.

Queens Park Rangers continued their miserable start to the season after losing 3-2 against West Brom Albion at the Hawthorns. James Morrison and Zoltan Gera got early first half goals for the Baggies.

Abel Taraabt reduced the lead with fine finish in the 35th minute. Five minutes from time, Yusuf Mulumbu gave West Brom a two-goal lead as Rangers tried to fight back with a last-minute goal fom Esteban Granero.

Leigton Baines' 87th minute penalty helped Everton secure a draw at the DW stadium in 2-2 draw against Wigan Athletic. Arouna Kone and Franco Di Santo scored two first half goals for the Latics while Toffees striker Nikica Jelavic made it 2-1 at the break.

Arsenal beat London rivals West Ham United 3-1 at Upton Park. The Gunners dominated after Mohamed Diame gave the Hammers an early lead. Oliver Giroud scored his first goal in the Premier League which turned out to be Arsenal equaliser in the first half. Substitute winger Theo Walcott scored the winner 13 minutes from time while Santo Cazorla sealed three points with a stunner.
