UEFA Champions League 2012-13 Group Stage Results

Madrid, Sep 19: Santiago Bernabeu witnessed an absolute thriller between Real Madrid and Manchester City as Cristiano Ronaldo secured crucial three points for Los Blancos in the first-leg beating Premier League champions 3-2.

Seven-time champions AC Milan were held by Belgian champions Anderlecth at home as Massimilano Allegri's side continued their poor form in front of their home fans.

Former Milan players Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva got on the score sheet for Paris Saint-Germain along with defender Alex and forward Javier Pastore to thrash Dynamo Kiev 4-1. Miguel Veloso scored a consolation goal for the visitors.

La Liga side Malaga carried their impressive form into the Champions League thrasing Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg 3-0 on Tuesday night. Malaga's 20-year old midfielder Isco scored twice.

Schalke striker Klass Jan Huntelaar scored the winner after Djamel Abdoun equalised for Olympiacos. Benedikt Howedes opened the scoring for the German side. The match ended 2-1.

Croatia side Dynamo Zagreb slumped to a 2-0 defeat at home against Porto. Midfielder Lucho Gonzalez opened the account four minutes before the first half while Steven Defour made it two during injury time.
