Kolkata/New Delhi, Sept 6: West Bengal commerce and industries minister Partha Chatterjee will have a discussion with the top brass of IT major Infosys in Bangalore on Thursday to break the deadlock over the firm's Rajarhat project in the state. The project's progress was stalled after the Trinamool Congress-led state government refused to grant Special Economic Zone (SEZ) status to Infosys. Chatterjee said that he was looking forward to resolve the issue.

The visit is significant for it was reported that Infosys was planning to exchange the 50-acre plot, which it had received when the Left Front government was in power, with Hidco to relocate its IT project from Rajarhat.
