The two London clubs have been busy in the summer transfer market as Liverpool's £35m striker Andy Carroll joined the Hammers on a season-long loan. The England striker is likely to start against the Cottagers replacing forward Carlton Cole.

Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun made a late loan switch to West Ham but may not get the nod from manager Sam Allardyce. Goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, Guy Demel, Mark Noble, Mohamed Diame and winger Matt Jarvis are expected to return after being rested for the Capital One cup win over Crewe.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has to replace playmaker Moussa Dembele after the Belgian signed for Spurs along with forward Clint Dempsey. Midfielder Stece Sidwell may come in for Dembele while Alex Kacaniklic will start.

Strikers Mladen Petric and Hugo Rodallega could start upfront but new signing Dimitar Berbatov may be benched. Bryan Ruiz is doubtful but left-back John-Arne Risse recovered from injury.

*West Ham new signing Andy Carroll scored four goals in 44 games after breaking the British transfer record signing of £35 million.

*Fulham last won at Upton Park back in 2001-02 season.
