Manchester, Sep 1: Premier League champions Manchester City face Queen Park Rangers in Game Week 3 of Barclays Premier League to be played at Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Team Profile: Manchester City | Queens Park Rangers

City will be without star striker Sergio Aguero after suffering injuries in the opening game of the new campaign. Italian striker Mario Balotelli is expected to start upfront along with Carlos Tevez.

Manager Roberto Mancini got all his summer targets on Friday during the transfer deadline. Benfica's Javi Garcia, right-back Maicon, winger Scott Sinclair and 19-year old 'new Vidic' Matija Nastasic signed for the Citizens. Defensive midfielder Nigel de Jong completed his transfer to AC Milan.

However, these new players are not expected to start tonight's game except winger Sinclair but playmaker David Silva is likely to start along with James Milner and Samir Nasri.

Mark Hughes' QPR have signed 12 new players in the summer transfers as goalkeeper Julio Cesar could start ahead of Robert Green. New signing from Real Madrid Esteban Granero may start in midfield with Alejandro Faurlin who returned after a long injury layoff.

*In the corresponding fixture last season, Mancehster City beat Queens Park Ranger 3-2 to clinch the title after 44 years.

*Manchester City have not lost at the Etihad in 2011-12 season.

*Rangers have picked 21 points in 21 Premier League games in 2012.

Queens Park Rangers (4-5-1): Green-Fabio, Hill, Ferdinand, Traore-Mackie, Park, Granero, Faurlin, Hoilett-Cisse.
