31-Bajrangi
Bangalore, Aug 31: A particular video of the hate speech made by Babu Bajrangi, the Bajrang Dal leader who was convicted in the Naroda Patiya massacre during the Gujarat riots in 2002 and got life term along with former state minister Maya Kodnani, was used by terror groups to encourage the anti-India jihadis, said a Times of India report published in 2010.

American Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist member David Coleman Headley was also among those who were trained by showing the CD is the terror camps of Pakistan. It is learnt that even a New Zealander trainee was so enraged by watching Bajrangi's speech that he also took vow to join the jihadi movement against India.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which had questioned Headley in June 2010, also mentioned in its long interrogation report about the training programmes and the presence of the New Zealander in one of the terror camps, said the report. Headley had said then that among the many CDs shown on atrocities against the Indian Muslims, the Bajrangi video was also there.

In the video, Bajrangi was shown saying that he would not spare a single Muslim and he did not care about how to go about it. It may be mentioned here that Bajrangi, during a sting operation by Tehelka in 2007, said he felt like Maharana Pratap after massacring the Muslims in 2002.
