The Janata Party chief clarified his stand on supporting Anna over his fight against corruption. Giving a clear message to Anna and his team, Swamy stated, "Although I am with Baba Ramdev, I could not back Hazare as there are naxalites in his team. In case, he wants my support, he must sever ties with them."
Swamy also differed with Anna's view and demand of bringing Lokpal Bill as soon as possible. The Janata Party chief said, "Corruption would not finish even if Lokpal Bill becomes a reality."
The leader also slammed Hazare saying that it was not right on part of the latter to insist that only what he was saying was apt and nothing else is correct.
Swamy's statement surfaced just a day ahead of the mass rally planned by crucial Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi. Kejriwal urged people to join him in protest against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and BJP president Nitin Gadkari over coal scam.
However, Delhi police rejected to give permission to Kejriwal and also announced that six metro station will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm on Sunday. It seems that the government is not ready to take any risk and thus has taken all decisions to foil Kejriwal's plan to gherao PM and Gadkari's residence in the national capital.
