Andy Murray's precious Olympic medals rest with his dogs!

Bangalore, Aug 9: When millions of sports persons await the moment after finishing at the top of the podium, here is an interesting yet shameful story on what a gold medallist did after winning Olympic Gold in Tennis after defeating Roger Federer in the finals.

While everyone are aware of the hardwork that goes into winning an Olympic Gold, here is a story on Andy Murray who gave his Olympic medals to his dogs, after his historic win against Roger Federer in the final.

According to Andy Murray's girl friend, Murray's medals rested with his dogs, as she had tweeted with the picture on one of the social networking sites. Kim Sears tweeted on the dog's account named @maggiemay_hem: 'Here we go folks... Just checking to make sure Rusty definitely has the silver, obviously'.

Does it mean, the Olympic medal that Andy Murray won by defeating Roger Federer was just worth that moment? Is that the value of an Olympic medal?

The same Tennis player when he lost to Federer at Wimbledon, cried and created a scene out of nothing, showing that how much it pains having lost the finals of Wimbledon last month, as Federer lifted the cup.

Now, when he emerged victorious against World's most successful Tennis star Roger Federer 6-2, 6-1, 6-4, within 1 hour, 56 minutes, the tennis star was jumping with joy as he had won a big one at Wimbledon though he hasn't won a Wimbledon trophy in his career yet.

Everyone is aware of the fact that it takes years of hardwork to play at the international level and participate in the most prestigious sporting event like Olympics, as every sportsperson would have dreamt of winning an Olympic medal.

Here, in the case of Murray, all his hardwork was appreciated as his success was celebrated when he won the gold medal at Olympics after defeating Roger Federer. But a day after his incredible feat, people who have had a look at this picture would definitely feel disappointed as it is a shame to see the most precious Olympic medals which rested with his dogs!
