Chandigarh, Aug 7: Hours after Anuradha Bali alias Fiza's mysterious death, police sources hinted that she might have been murdered.

Doctors conducted post-mortem on the decomposed body on Monday, Aug 6. Initial reports claimed that there were no external injury marks on her body. However, exact reason behind her death would be clear only after the viscera report.

The report of forensic experts is expected to be published in next 24 to 48 hours, sources informed on Tuesday, Aug 7. Fiza's viscera samples will be sent to either the Forensic Sciences laboratory, Chandigarh or the Department of Forensic Sciences, Patiala.

Meanwhile, police seized Fiza's mobile and other belongings and have been trying to get any crucial information which would help them to find out the real reason behind her death.

Fiza, the estranged wife of former Haryana deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan was found dead at her home in Chandigarh on Monday. She was the second wife of Chander Mohan.

Fiza's body was found by her paternal uncle when he visited her in the morning at her home located in sector 48 of Panchkula on the outskirts of Chandigarh. Preliminary probe revealed that she might have died 2-3 days back. No suicide note was found.

Initial reports hinted that Fiza, former Haryana Assistant Advocate General, had committed suicide. Fiza was living alone after Chander Mohan left her and went back to his first wife after a few years of matrimony. The highly-publicised marriage had grabbed a lot of media attention in those days since she left her high profile job to marry former Haryana CM Bhajan Lal's son Chander Mohan.

She had on Jan 30, 2009 attempted suicide and had a narrow escape. Fiza had married Chander Mohan in Dec 2008 and on 2009, he stranded her and went back to his first wife. He has two kids with his first wife. Fiza had claimed that Chander Mohan had sent her an SMS announcing his separation by messaging 'talaq' three times which Fiza rejected. Fiza had also claimed that she was being harassed by Bhajan Lal's family.
