12 new faces in Kar CM Jagadish Shettar's cabinet

Bangalore, Jul 12: The new Chief Minister of Karnataka Jagadish Shettar has retained all those who served under his predecessor DV Sadananda Gowda.

Immediately after Shettar was sworn in by Governor Hans Raj Bhardwaj at the Raj Bhavan here today morning, the latter administered the oath of office to the two Deputy Chief Ministers KS Eshwarappa and R Ashoka.

Then it was the turn of 31 ministers including 20 who were part of the Gowda ministry: Govind M Karjol, S Suresh Kumar, CM Udasi, Vishveshwara Hegde Kageri, Umesh V Katti, Basavaraja Bommai, Murugesh R Nirani, V Somanna, Shobha Karandlaje, BN Bache Gowda, MP Renukacharya, CP Yogeeshwara, SA Ravindranatha, Revu Naik Belamagi, Balachandra Jarkiholi, SA Ramadass, Anand Asnotikar, A Narayanaswamy, Raju Gowda alias Narasimha Nayak and Varthur Prakash.

Apart from Eshwarappa, the new faces inducted by Shettar into his cabinet are: Sogadu Shivanna, CT Ravi, DN Jeevaraja, SK Bellubbi, Aravind Limbavali, BJ Puttaswamy, Anand Singh, Kalakappa Gurushantappa Bandi, Sunil Vallyapure, Kota Srinivasa Poojari and Appachu Ranjan.
