Abu Jundal
Mumbai, Jul 4: 2008 Mumbai terror suspect Abu Jundal, who is currently under the custody of Delhi police revealed that he used chat services provided by pornographic websites to chat with his module members, said a report in DNA.

According to sources from the police department, the LeT members have been using this method of communication even before the arms and ammunition seizure from Aurangabad in 2006.

"He used to chat with his module members from a cyber café in Aurangabad through such websites," said a police officer.

"The police and intelligence agencies usually keep tabs on social networking sites and popular online chat services, but keeping a track of pornographic websites is very rare, limited and difficult," said the officer.

"Such websites claim that by purchasing their premium services, one can talk with girls through video calling and online chatting," he added.

He said that one could also invite friends to chat on such groups.

"To lure customers, such websites claim that confidentiality will be maintained and no one will be able to access the chats," said the officer.

During the interrogation, the police also came across a coded e-mail which Jundal sent to his seniors in Pakistan after the Karnavati Express blast at Ahmedabad station, Gujarat in 2006.

The mail was sent by Mohammad Aquib Shaikh, one of Jundal's associate, who sent the mail from his yahoo id that read, "Dhandhe ka udghatan hogaya hai, 25 ko dawat kar di hai (Have inaugurated the business, 25 have been invited)".
