Chinese training LeT men, reveals Abu Jundal

Abu Jundal
New Delhi, Jul 3: 2008 Mumbai terror attacks suspect Abu Jundal, who is in the custody of special cell of the Delhi police, has reportedly revealed that an ace para-glider has been employed by terror group, LeT, who has been training its terrorists in para-gliding for the past two years.

"A Chinese national has been hired by the LeT to train its cadres in para-gliding. The Chinese national is also being assisted by another person who is believed to be a Pakistani-national," said a police officer as reported by the DNA.

Reports reveal that Ansari's voice samples have been taken by the police and it will be matched with his voice recorded during the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai.

"We would be doing the sample matching in an FBI laboratory, so that once the results are out, Pakistan cannot allege that they have been tampered with," the official said.

The officer, however, said the voice samples could not be used as an evidence against Jundal in the court of law, but will give India to prove its case against Pakistan, who has been in a denial mode over the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

According to the confession made by Jundal, LeT bought at least 50 gliders from China and more than 100 terrorists have been trained in the past two years.

The training is being imparted in the Baltistan area, North Pakistan bordering the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of China.

Jundal has also revealed that LeT has shifted its base to the Dolai area in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). According to Jundal, this was done after the crackdown on the terror organisation post the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.

He also said following the arrest of Zaki-ur-Rehman for his involvement in the Mumbai attacks, Muzamil Bhatt was made the head of Let operations.
